Vincent Gotko

With more than 30 years of public accounting experience, Vincent Gotko has accumulated a broad range of practical experience in dealing with entrepreneurial, closely held companies and their owners.  Throughout his years as a certified public accountant, he has advised clients in the following areas: business formation and entity selection, forecasting, strategic planning, budgeting, and tax savings through proactive planning and projections.

Vincent has experience with corporate and individual taxation but enjoys the challenges, and the available tax planning opportunities of flow-through entities of S-Corporation and Partnerships.  These flow-through entities provide tax planning and consulting opportunities like: research and development credits, IC-DISC, income allocation strategies, and operating agreement and ownership consulting.

Vincent’s current and past portfolio of clients include companies involved in the following industries: manufacturing, real estate development and leasing, construction, automated robotic assembly/manufacturing design, build and integration, financial services, and distribution.

Mr. Gotko earned a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Michigan State University.

He is an active member of the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.  His community involvement has, or currently encompasses, participation in Automation Alley, The Oakland County Business Roundtable, and the Executive Committee of the Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce.

When not in the office, Vincent enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and tailgating at Spartan home games.
