Christine LaTour
Tax Director
Christine LaTour has more than 30 years of experience in the accounting and tax profession and serves as a business advisor to a wide range of closely held for-profit businesses. Christine’s problem-solving skills, and desire to work closely with entrepreneurs has made her a valued advisor to her clients.
Christine provides accounting, tax, and business planning services for numerous clients including many in the manufacturing, construction, real estate, service and not-for-profit industries. She has experience in minimizing a client’s tax burden through a variety of tax audits including IRS, Michigan Business, Corporate, Individual Income, and Sales and Use Tax. She also has extensive experience in multi-state taxation compliance.
Christine has served in leadership roles on multiple boards, including Mt. Clemens Rotary, Port Huron Rotary, and Macomb County Habitat for Humanity.
Christine is a graduate of Walsh College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. She is also a graduate of Walsh College with a Master’s Degree in Taxation. During her career, Christine has been associated with three other well-established accounting firms prior to her association with FMD.
Christine is currently a member of Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Mt. Clemens Rotary.
