Best Buddies Champion of the Year 2021
FMD was honored to sponsor the 2021 Best Buddies Champions Gala to unite and recognize the community’s most active leaders in the name of inclusion. On Friday, November 19 at the Henry Ford Museum guests enjoyed an evening full of games, auctions, dancing, and exploring the Museum’s exhibits. Congratulations to the 2021 Michigan Champion of the Year, Rachel Mueller.
Best Buddies is the world’s largest organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Our programs empower the special abilities of people with IDD by helping them form meaningful friendships with their peers, secure successful jobs, live independently, improve public speaking, self-advocacy and communication skills, and feel valued by society.
FMD Sponsors Annual Michigan Auto Dealers Association (MADA) PAC Golf outing
Dan Patterson and Alan Rudzewicz of FMD, along with attorney Michael Weikert and financial wealth manager Kevin Zezula spent the afternoon in East Lansing supporting and networking with Michigan auto dealers and other vendors to support the MADA organization. The weather and golf were both amazing. Thank you to Terry Burns and the whole MADA Board and Staff for allowing us to participate again this year.

FMD to Attend 2020 Role Model Dinner Hosted by Alternatives for Girls
The FMD staff will be attending the 2020 Role Model Dinner hosted by Alternatives for Girls. The Role Model Dinner honors women in Detroit making an impact on the community.
This years honorees include the following women leaders: Denise Ilitch, President of Ilitch Enterprises; Palencia Mobley, Deputy Director and Chief Engineer of Detroit Water and Sewage Department; and Laura Chavez Wazeerud-Din, Branch Manager of Flagstar Bank.
The dinner takes place Thursday, March 26, 2020 from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. The event is located at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center in the Ambassador Ballroom.

Dan Patterson to be Featured Presenter to the Chrysler Minority Dealers Association
February 12-14, 2020 - Dan Patterson will be a Featured Presenter to the Chrysler Minority Dealers Association (CMDA) in Las Vegas, NV at the Organizations 2020 Annual Membership Meeting that takes place in conjunction with the Annual National Auto Dealer Association Convention (NADA).
Mr. Patterson will be speaking to the Auto Dealer Attendees on the topic of Estate and Business Succession Planning in the Dealer Franchise Environment.

Fenner, Melstrom and Dooling, PLC is proud to be a gold sponsor of the annual Birmingham Bloomfield Chamber of Commerce Economic Forecast Breakfast. The Economic Forecast Breakfast will take place on January 24 at the Townsend Hotel from 8:00 to 9:30 a.m.
The January event features Paul Traub, Senior Business Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, and newly appointed Oakland County Executive Dave Coulter. The event will be moderated by Nicholas Papasifakis of Clark Hill PLC.
